This cosy traditional stone built former Bobbin mill workers’ cottage is one of a small group of similar cottages in an elevated position. It has excellent views towards the lower slopes of Wansfell. It nestles in a very peaceful area just five minutes walk from the centre of the village which contains a wealth of restaurants, pubs and shops.
The cottage has just been completely refurbished and is open plan downstairs with gas fired central heating. The lounge and dining area has a coal effect gas fire in a feature fireplace, TV, and DVD. Newly fitted kitchen contains electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge freezer.
The stairs lead directly from the lounge to the first floor which has a double bedroom with excellent views, fully tiled bathroom with P shaped bath and shower over, handbasin, wc. and drying cupboard.
A further narrow staircase leads to a spacious upper floor bedroom, sleeping two, with en suite fully tiled shower room with handbasin and toilet. Both bedrooms have coordinated linens.
There is a private parking area directly in front of the cottage for one car.
All heating and bedding included, towels are not provided.
The cottage is warm and cosy for winter.
